Frequently Asked Questions

We ship every two weeks. Comics are released every Wednesday and we typically ship orders every other Monday (for orders released that week and the previous).
Estimated release dates vary depending on the publisher and series. If you would like to
change or customize when your order ships, or request we ship as soon as the pre-order is received please contact us and we will be happy to make the change.

There are some instances where the publisher is late to release an issue or will push the realease date out. If we see that a book release will be shipping late from the publisher, we will reach out to you to let you know.

Once your order ships we will provide you with a tracking number.

 

To order from our website,
Simply add a book to your cart from the item page. To view your cart, click the small bag icon at the top right of the site page.

In the Cart View you can change quantities, enter a discount code and select your preferred checkout method. We support all major credit cards, PayPal, Google Pay. You can also pay off your balance in payments by using ShopPay.

To order from a spreadsheet/document
fill out the quantities you would like for each title/variant in the first column
from the left. Save the document and send to Orders@HorrorComix.com. We will send you an email with an electronic invoice that you can pay with the same options that are described above.

You can also print, fill out and scan or send images of your order form.

You will be charged for your pre-order at time of checkout.

We are a family owned and operated business based out of Southern California. Not only are we authorized retailers for all major publishers - we are also a collector driven operation with extra attention given to condition and we package and ship in a way that keeps all books in NM/MT condition throughout the entire shipping process.

If we receive a book or books from our distributors that are damaged in any way, we will not ship them out and work on a replacement or refund. If for some reason a book gets damaged in the shipping process, we will accept a return or replacement at no cost to you.

Since we are authorized retailers for all major publishers, we have exclusive access to incentive variants (some variants are limited and are allocated based on customer subscription and/or order date(s).) When purchasing a retailer ratio book, all variants purchased from the same issue can be subtracted from the ratio book's total. Contact us for details!
All of our books are sold for less than cover price.

Also, we are focused on pre-order and subscription services which cuts down on overhead related to keeping stock of back issues and again, we pass these savings on to our customers.

Yes, please visit My Subscriptions under your account to add or cancel subscriptions.

You are charged for your subscription monthly on the date of
your original order. Example: If you order a subscription on May 1st,
your next charge will be June 1st.

We receive books directly from publishers so they are typically NM or better. However, we do examine each book before shipping to ensure the condition is up to our standards. If a book arrives damaged we will immediately reach out to you and work on getting a replacement.

We package all books extremely well to maintain NM+ condition during the shipping process.
