• We send submissions in once a month which can take between 8-12 weeks to be completed and shipped back.

• All new books are guaranteed to have a 9.2 grade or Better. We can not guarantee a 9.8. However, we will select only the best looking books to be submitted. If a book we send gets a grade lower than 9.2 and we don't already have one in stock we will issue a full refund or give a partial credit back depending on your preference (since we screen the books we send, this is very rare).

• CGC does not post grades until the end of the grading process so it can take 8-12 weeks before we know what the grade ends up being. As soon as we receive grading details and certification numbers we will send you this information which will allow you to see the grade and an image of your book before it is received in the mail.

• Each book is encased in a clear holder which sits inside the graded slab. At times there may be minor scratches and scuffs on this interior case. If CGC determines this does not distract from the encapsulated book and they consider the slab acceptable in their quality control appraisal they will not accept a return or refund.

• Even though we only submit new, modern books we still offer a pressing service. The reason for this is at times paper books (usually the A covers - not card stock) can have some wavy imperfections which can be caused by varios factors including moisture in the air and the shipping process from our disributor to us and then to CGC. For this reason we typically recommend adding pressing to any paper-cover book especially if you are hoping for a 9.8 grade.
  If you add pressing service to a book and we determine it is not necessary we will let you know and refund the pressing charge.
  All of our pressing is performed by the professionals at CGC and can add up to (60) days to process on top of the grading turnaround times.

• The Grading Submission process begins when we receive the book(s) from our distributor/publisher so the estimated turnaround time for any of the services on this page does not include the time between ordering a book and the release date.
